About Us

The NITI AAYOG CHAIR (erstwhile Planning Commission Chair) was established in 1995 by the then Planning commission of India in the University of Rajasthan. The NAC has been carrying out various research and academic activities such as projects and studies on Rajasthan, writing of research papers, organizing conferences/seminars and panel discussions on issues related to planning and development. The chair also provides internship to students who are interested in research and academic activities connected with the fulfillment of the objectives of NITI AAYOG CHAIR.
The Economic Bulletin is a quarterly publication of NITI Aayog Chair which makes detailed economic analysis and proposes set of measures that can further augment the desired outcomes for different sectors, leading to sustainable development. Last published issue of NITI AAYOG CHAIR “Economic Bulletin” was titled “Women Entrepreneurship in MSME Sector of India”.

Recently, University of Rajasthan has been designated as the Lead Knowledge Institution (LKI) for Rajasthan by the Honorable Chief Minister, Government of Rajasthan. LKI has been assigned a pivotal role as a Key Knowledge partner of the recently constituted Rajasthan Institute of Transformation and Innovation (RITI) under the State Support Mission of NITI AAYOG. Dr. Anshu Bhardwaj has been entrusted the task of Nodal Officer for coordinating with the Government of Rajasthan to formalize institutional support to RITI. During the next two years University of Rajasthan will bring the expertise of other institutions by way of institutional collaboration to assist the state government in this endeavor.
