A brief overview of the academic activities done in the past few years in the NITI A iyog Chair is as follows:

Memorial Lectures

Conferences / Symposium/ Public Lectures/ Seminars/ Webinars

• ITI Aayog Chair organized a National Conference in collaboration with Rajasthan Economic Association (REA) on Indian Economy: A Roadmap Towards Development .
• A symposium was organized on Recent Developments in Indian Economy in collaboration with the Indian Econometric Society (TIES).
• To promote discourse on economic issues, the Chair organized seven Public Lectures delivered by Prof. Arvind Panagariya, Prof. Kaushik Basu, Prof. Y K Alagh, Dr. Surjit Bhalla, Prof. V.S. Vyas, Prof. Ravindra Dholakia, and Prof. Tapas K. Sen.
• An open house discussion was held on Economic Survey 2017, with Dr. Arvind Subramanian, Chief Economic Advisor, Government of India.
• The Chair also organized a Panel Discussion on GST: Issues and Challenges.
• To discuss the state of the Indian economy in the aftermath of the COVID-19 Pandemic, five Webinar were organized by the Chair, inviting speakers from institutes of national repute.
• A Panel Discussion on Union Budget: 2022-23 was organized by the Chair.
• For career guidance of students in the field of Economics, a special session an was conducted on "Career Opportunities in Economics.

UGC Refresher Courses

• The Chair has also organized Refresher Courses in Economics under the aegis of UGC HRDC, University of Rajasthan. The objective of the courses was to update the subeject competency of the college and university teachers from across the nation.

Research papers published/ Chapters in edited Books/Publications

• In the last five years, more than 30 research papers of the faculty members in the team NITI Aayog Chair have appeared in renowned journals and edited books.
