About Coordinator

K.V.R. Rao is presently serving as Director Infonet Centre at Rajasthan University, Member, Steering Committee, All India Survey on Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development, GOI, New Delhi, Director & DIC Coordinator, Centre for Converging Technologies, Deputy Director (Operations), University Science Instrumentation Centre and Coordinator, University with potential for Excellence in Focused Area Program. Besides this, Dr. Rao is acting as Representative for computer Emergency Response Team of Government of India. He is presently mentored and mentoring nearly 40 crores worth of projects with assistance from GOI, Government of Rajasthan funding Agencies. Dr. Rao served as Visiting Professor at University of Western Ontario, London, Canada, Visiting Scientist at Advanced Photon Source, Argonne National Lab., Chicago, University of Wisconsin, National Science Council of Taiwan Scientist at Taiwan Synchrotron Radiation Research Centre, Max Planck Institute at Stuttgart, Germany, ICTP, Trieste, Italy. Besides this, Dr. Rao received UNESCO fellowship for advanced training in parallel computing at CERN, Geneva. K.V.R. Rao Published nearly 80 papers in various Journals of international repute with impact factor more than 4 with nearly cumulative citations of 1000. Editorial board member in Canadian Journal of Applied Physics, Canadian Journal of Applied Research for three years and also acted/acting as reviewer for various journals such as Elsevier, Springer-Verlag etc. I have delivered several presentations in national and International conferences in the form of invited/plenary/key note address. Dr. Rao served as scientist at Roswell Park Cancer under National Cancer Institute, USA nanotechnology initiative worked on nanomedicine and developed drug delivery mechanism under therapy and diagnosis (Theragnosis). Filed two provisional US patents and phase IV clinical trials are in progress. His present area of research is centered on Nano-Bio-Informatics-Cognitive Neuro Science (NBIC) besides energy materials.
