National Digital Library Ministry of Human Resource Development MHRD under its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology NMEICT has initiated the National Digital Library of India NDLI project to develop a framework of virtual repository of learning resources with a single-window search facility.

These learning objects span topics in science and engineering at the college level, and math’s and science at the school level.
12. Directory of Open Access Books The Directory of Open Access Books is a service of DOAB Foundation. DOAB was established by OAPEN Foundation in close cooperation with Lars Bjørnshauge and Salam Baker Shanawa director of Samper. The primary aim of DOAB is to increase discoverability of Open Access books.

It has been established with the goal of addressing the needs of Higher Education through the powerful medium of Television along with appropriate use of emerging Information Communication Technology ICT.
18. SWAYAMPRABHA The SWAYAM PRABHA is a group of 32 DTH channels devoted to telecasting of high-quality educational programmes on 24X7 basis using the GSAT-15 satellite. The contents are provided by NPTEL, IITs, UGC, CEC, IGNOU, NCERT and NIOS. The INFLIBNET Centre maintains the web portal.
19. e-Shodh Sindhu The Ministry of HRD now renamed as Ministry of Education has formed e-ShodhSindhu merging three consortia initiatives, namely UGC-INFONET Digital Library Consortium, NLIST and INDEST-AICTE Consortium. The e-ShodhSindhu will continue to provide current as well as archival access to more than 10,000 core and peer-reviewed journals and a number of bibliographic, citation and factual databases in different disciplines.

It provides important information about expert's background, contact address, experience, scholarly publications, skills and accomplishments, researcher identity, etc. The database developed and maintained by Information and Library Network Centre INFLIBNET with financial support from the National Mission on Education through ICT NME-ICT.
