The University Commerce College is a constituent college of the University of Rajasthan. It is one of the prestigious colleges in the country and widely known for imparting quality education and promoting high level research in the field of commerce. It is situated in front of Jawahar Kala Kendra, JLN Marg, Jaipur.
Commerce College opened the wings on 13th December 1956 as an autonomous study centre in Maharajas' College campus. Prof. B. D. Bharagava was its founder Principal. The new institution began with a modest strength of about 300 students. About a couple of years later the classes were held at Government Poddar School, Gandhi Nagar. In 1963 the college was brought within the fold of the University of Rajasthan as one of its constituent colleges.
