In pursuance of the recommendation of the finance committee on 9.3.2005 and subsequently resolution item No. 3 dated 23.3.2005, I am directed to inform you that the University of Rajasthan has introduced a student Group/Personal Accident Insurance scheme for all the regular students enrolled with all the constituent colleges and Departments / centers from the academic session 2005-06. Your office has already been charged Rs. 10/- from each regular student at the time of admission in your college/ unit/ department. The University has entered MOU with National Insurance Company to this effect. The Insurance cover will come into force the date the University pay the premium to the insurer. It has to be done at the earliest.
In view of the above you are requested to send the fee so collected from the students admitted in your unit / college / department for the session 2005-06 upto 31st August, 2005. The fee collected may be sent throught a cheque in the name of The Dean Students Welfare, University of Rajasthan Jaipur along with a complete list of students from whom the fee taken in the enclosed format with a soft copy of the same.
This may please be treated as most urgent and any delay in making the payment of premium to Insurance Company may complicate the matter, hence expedite the remittance of this fee to the DSW. Any delay or lapse in sending the fee and if any exigency takes place, the responsibility will be of the respective Unit Head.
